Bentley Heritage Parts – Keeping your Rolls-Royce & Bentley on the road!

In 2015 Bentley Motors launched their “Heritage” website. It contains digitised information from their archives such as parts lists and workshop manuals for models from 1955 to 2003 and is a very useful reference tool.
Its launch is quite significant because it provides a clear definition of which models Bentley Motors consider to be Heritage.
In the 1980s Rolls-Royce Motors sold their remaining stock of pre-1955 parts to Appleyard Rippon. This was subsequently sold, in the 1990s, to Jack Barclay Ltd meaning that all genuine pre-1955 parts are held by them.
In 1998 Rolls-Royce Motors was sold and the two brands separated; Rolls-Royce being owned by BMW and the Bentley name, Crewe factory and historic stockholding sold to the Volkswagen Audi Group. The Crewe factory continued to produce the Rolls-Royce Seraph and Bentley Arnage models until 2003. Read more about the sale here.

We, therefore, take the “Heritage” brand to mean those models that were produced between 1955 and 2003 when the company produced both Rolls-Royce and Bentley cars.

We are confident, however, that if you own a Heritage vehicle we can supply the parts that you need from our Heritage vehicle stockholding. Our range of parts for all models produced from 1946 to the present day is unrivalled.

We have always strived to offer the broadest choice of parts to owners and workshops including:

• New genuine parts for all the post-war Rolls-Royce & Bentley models prior to 2003 from Bentley Motors under their Crewe Genuine brand.
• Where these parts are NLA (No Longer Available) or prohibitively expensive we try to offer an Aftermarket alternative.
• Our inhouse Technical Services Department recondition a wide variety of parts broadly covering Hydraulics, Engines, Axles, Rear Hubs, Carburetters, Leaf Springs, Electrical units and Wheel & Master Cylinders. For all other reconditioned parts we work closely with a select number of companies, all of whom are specialists in their field.
• Harder to find parts can often be sourced from our extensive stocks of recycled parts carefully dismantled and tested on-site by our experienced team.

At the time of writing our feeling is that the parts stock holding at Crewe is decreasing dramatically. We aim to fill the void that this leaves in order to help owners and enthusiasts to keep their cars on the road and in pristine condition.
