This is a replacement infotainment unit. This allows you to fit any double DIN audio head unit to the infotainment unit to meet your own personal requirements.
The fitting of this system addresses common issues many GT, GTC & Flying Spur owners encounter with the standard infotainment system. Common requests for touch screen, Bluetooth connectivity, iPod interface/music streaming, DAB radio & most common of all better Sat Nav are all taken care of. All done by the use of this modern day infotainment unit replacement in conjunction with a compatible ICE unit (see INFOTAINMENT2). All issues are covered by this plug & play unit, no coding required!
Fitting is very straight forward. The full colour instruction manual supplied covers all installation steps in detail & all wiring is taken care of with the original factory block connectors/plugs.
All original features of the infotainment unit are fully integrated with this replacement unit, features such as TPM (tyre pressure monitoring), suspension settings etc are all included. The system will even automatically recognise which TPM system is fitted to the car by reading the ECU part number.
This system will bring all 2004-2011 models into the new age allowing the use of technology never seen before in this model. As the ICE unit is separate from the infotainment unit it can be replaced as technology evolves means this system is totally future proof. The ICE can be changed as often as the owner wishes putting the owner back in control.
