RS42SX is the 9:1 CR engine fitted to all naturally aspirated cars from VIN 24501 to 30000.
From VIN 24500 the standard crankcase was modified to one with cross-bolted main bearing caps. If the VIN of your car is close to 24500 please confirm with us which engine is fitted to your car.
