Question: My SRH19536 has the boot lid seal glued to the body. When replacing same, the technical manual advises applying Boscolite Primer 9252 to the bonding area on the body only. Then applying Boscoprene Cement parts 1 & 2 to the bonding area of the seal and body, etc. Unfortunately these appear to be industrial Bostik products which I have been unable to find in South Africa. I am wary of using just any adhesive as it may affect the paintwork as well as the rather soft rubber of the seal. Does anyone have any experience of using a more commonly available adhesive for this job?
