Two members of the Flying Spares team recently embarked on an exciting trip to Colorado Springs, via Chicago, to attend the 2025 Rolls-Royce Owners’ Club (RROC) rally. Colin, Head of Sales, and Duncan, Head of Operations, began their journey with an 8-hour flight from London to Chicago, where they were greeted by their longtime friend Rodd Sala of Park-Ward Motors.

Rodd, a renowned expert in restoring and selling Rolls-Royce and Bentley vehicles, extended his hospitality by showcasing the best of Chicago. After exploring the city’s highlights, Colin and Duncan visited Park-Ward Motors—a paradise for enthusiasts of these legendary brands. The showroom featured an impressive collection of meticulously restored classics, leaving the pair inspired by the craftsmanship and dedication Rodd and Park-Ward Motors put into each vehicle.

From Chicago, the journey continued with a flight to Denver, followed by a scenic drive to the Cheyenne Mountain Resort, nestled at the base of the Rocky Mountains. The resort was the perfect setting for the 2025 RROC rally, a celebration of automotive history, the enthusiasts, and the enduring appeal of Rolls-Royce and Bentley.

The rally brought together nearly 200 amazing vehicles, each reflecting the craftsmanship and luxury for which these marques are known. Guests enjoyed curated events, including scenic drives along the iconic Pikes Peak Highway and a gala evening at the historic Broadmoor Hotel. The pinnacle of the weekend was the Concours d’Élégance, where rare and beautifully restored cars competed for top honours. A 1934 Phantom II Brewster Tourer earned the coveted “Best in Show” award.

Beyond the cars, the rally fostered connections among enthusiasts. Attendees shared stories, maintenance tips, and their shared passion for these luxury vehicles. The 2025 Colorado Springs RROC rally was an unforgettable celebration of timeless design, community, and the breathtaking splendor of the American West, and we look forward to next year's RROC annual meet in Palm Springs.
