"Early Silver Shadows, such as this 1969 model, are often in demand for the rarer components that they can provide. However, it can also be a difficult decision to recycle what many regard as the purest examples of the breed. This particular car had a number of mechanical issues and, while appearing to be quite sound bodily, the underneath proved to be badly corroded, meaning that recycling was the most sensible option."
