Forest Green paintwork, Magnolia leather, and the unmistakable silhouette of the early Silver Spirit — this is a Rolls-Royce that still turns heads over 40 years after it first left Crewe. We know this particular car well, having owned it before, and when the chance came to welcome it back, we didn’t hesitate.

Condition-wise, it presents beautifully. The bodywork carries a deep shine, the chrome still gleams, and the Magnolia leather interior has aged gracefully, with just the right amount of patina to remind you it’s a true classic. The wood veneers retain their richness, and everything about the cabin feels exactly as a Rolls-Royce should: spacious, comfortable, and undeniably special.

Mechanically, the car runs and drives well, with that familiar 6.75-litre V8 smoothness and the peerless ride quality Rolls-Royce perfected in this era. That said, it is very much a 1980s motor car, and like all Spirits of this generation, it will require ongoing care and attention from its next custodian. Think of it less as a “finished article” and more as a well-kept classic that will continue to reward regular maintenance.
